Purchases After Trial

• We offer free in-home trials for domestic clients.

• To schedule a trial, please contact one of our Resident Flutists.

• After the trial period, refunds or exchanges are not accepted, since all concerns should be raised during the trial.

Website Purchases

• 7-day return window for instruments purchased online.

• If the instrument isn’t the right fit, our Resident Flutists can help you find alternatives.

Custom-Ordered Instruments

• Non-refundable and non-cancellable once production has started.

• Typical production time: 4–6 months.

• If you are unsure, we recommend selecting from our in-stock inventory instead.

Guo Instruments

• Not covered under the Flute Center Standard Service Guarantee.

Pre-Owned & Unique Instruments

• Governed by the Trial Program rules.

• Orders are fulfilled after ongoing trials are completed.

• Trial clients have priority purchase rights over online buyers.

• If the instrument is sold to a trial client:

  • Online buyers may choose another instrument of equal value, or

  • Request a full refund.

• Refunds are processed in USD via the original payment method.

• John Packer JP is not responsible for transaction fees, exchange rates, or financial impacts.

Liquidation Items

• Sold as-is, with no warranty.

• No returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Accessories

• No returns or exchanges, except:

  • Defective items may be exchanged for an identical unused item in original packaging within 7 days of invoice.

  • Lefreques: eligible for return/exchange within 7 days of delivery, if unused and in original packaging.

Sale Items

• Only regular-priced items are eligible for return/exchange.

• Sale items are final sale and sold as-is.

Replacements

• Available only for new items with manufacturing defects beyond normal service guarantee coverage.

• Routine adjustments or maintenance are not eligible for replacement.

• Used instruments are sold as-is, with no replacement guarantee.

Exchanges

• Exchanges allowed within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

  • Both instruments are new.

  • Returned in the same condition as received.

  • Eligible under the return policy.

• Used instruments are not eligible once payout has been processed.

International Orders

• Taxes, customs duties, and shipping charges are non-refundable.

• Buyers are responsible for all import fees in their country.
